Insights from Rev. Scott Sherman...
Recently, I had a marvelous answer to prayer. During a spiritual retreat, I had a powerful experience – a brilliant flash
of light that jolted me out of meditation. The words that followed this flash were simple: "Get it out there.
"
It took me only a few moments to realize what "it" was: The Sacred Meditation.
From 2003-2007, I’d shared the Sacred Meditation with over 200 Unity churches and 4,800 men, women and children –
plus a few family pets! I also trained about 150 others to share its loving power with friends, family and clients.
However, my ability to expand this marvelous ministry seemed limited by time & space – I clearly needed help.
To my delight, I soon discovered that several Unity congregations had already begun getting it out there – by
sharing the Sacred Meditation in their churches at regularly scheduled times with anyone who asked. Most
importantly, a variety of healings had already been documented: physical, emotional, relational and financial. The
ministers were even happier because these sacred meditation groups required little staff/administration time, used
volunteers proficient at Sacred Healing and produced love offerings for the church – some of them quite
generous. This was a "win-win" for everyone – especially the Sacred Meditation practitioners who had the
joy of sharing sacred healings with their fellow church members -- while creating additional income for their church.
Without much effort on my part, over 20 sacred meditation groups had already begun to serve.
Expanding on this natural birthing, today I’m pleased to introduce our new program: Unity Sacred Healing Circles
. I encourage Unity churches everywhere to co-create this program with me as I visit your area of the country. When we
’re done, every participating ministry will have a helpful, loving healing presence for anyone who chooses to come.
Our Association is assisting with this process by allowing me to present the details in two Unity Sacred Healing
Circles seminars at our Unity Peoples’ Convention in Kansas City on Wednesday, June 10, 2009. In addition, this
website will display opportunities for you to invite the Sacred Meditation into your ministry and/or to co-create a Sacred
